We acknowledge messages within ten working days. Substantive replies typically follow within two to three weeks.
Languages of correspondence
The editorial office reads and replies in English, Turkish, Russian, and Kyrgyz. Please write in whichever language is most comfortable for you. If we need a translator for a particularly technical query, we will let you know.
For libraries
Acquisition librarians wishing to add titles from our catalogue to their collections, or to set up standing orders, are invited to write to us directly. We can supply title-level metadata in standard MARC formats on request, and we work with library distributors in Türkiye, Russia, and Kazakhstan for regional acquisitions.
For authors with submitted proposals
If you have a proposal currently with us and have not received an update in the timeline indicated on our Submissions page, please feel free to write a polite reminder. Editorial work moves at varying paces; reminders help, and they are not held against you.
Press inquiries & permissions
Journalists and academics seeking to quote from BYR titles or to discuss our publishing programme may write to the same address. Permissions for extended quotation, translation rights, or reproduction in derivative works are handled case by case; please describe the intended use clearly.
